Pony Club Polocrosse have launched a new league for 2022, as part of our plans to encourage members to compete in competitions throughout the season and recognise their achievements throughout the year. The league will see prizes awarded for both the teams and individuals that do best across our centrally run Pony Club Polocrosse competitions. There will also be prizes for the best playing ponies.
Prizes will be awarded in line with the grade structure of our competitions, so Seniors, Juniors and Minis. We are also planning on splitting the prizes between Open and Novice grades at each age level. Points will be awarded based on placings of teams and also individual prizes (such as best players and best numbers). Complete Branch, Centre or Area Teams will be eligible for the team competitions and all individual pony club members will be included in the individual league.
The events currently planned for 2022 which will contribute to the league are:
The Arena Challenge – 23rd and 24th of April – Dallas Burston Polo club, Warwickshire
The Pony Club Polocrosse Championships – 13th and 14th of August – Offchurch Bury, Warwickshire
The Autumn Challenge – 23rd and 24th of September – Venue TBC
We are looking at how we can add more events to this list and ensure they are spread geographically around the country.
We will update the leagues after every event and soon after the final event of the year we will publish the final league and award prizes to the winners.
