In 2025 we are introducing a new competition; The Area Cup!
This event will take place on the 19th and 20th of July, hosted by Cotswold Polocrosse Club at their Priors Norton grounds in Gloucestershire.
Pony Club Areas can enter open level teams of Minis, Minis Plus (Minis age but on larger ponies / horses), Juniors and Seniors to compete in the individual grades and then there is also the overall Area Cup to be won for the most successful Area across the four grades! Members who are comfortable playing at Open level but do not have a full Area Open Level team to play in can also apply to be put in one of the “wildcard” teams for the event.
For Pony Club members and teams who are not in the Area Cup there is still a great opportunity to play, as there is a full tournament running alongside the event which is open to all ages and levels of both Pony Club and UKPA members.

There is also a training camp, hosted by Cotswold Polocrosse Club, taking place just before the tournament weekend, starting on Wednesday the 16th of July. This is open to all Pony Cub members, as well as non members, to allow them to hone their skills before playing in the tournament at the weekend.
