The Pony Club Polocrosse Championships runs alongside the main Pony Club Championships at Offchurch Bury in Warwickshire on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of August. It allows members from all around the UK of all ages and abilities to compete for one of the national trophies.
Entries can be made for:
- The Brookes Minis Championships – Members 12 years and under, ponies under 138cm
- The Stoneleigh Juniors Championships – Members 15 years and under, horses any height
- The Charles Mason Seniors Championships – Members any age, horses over 138cm
These classes are split into Novice and Open grades based on the experience and the ability of the teams.
The Branch or Centre that does best overall in the Charles Mason Seniors and the Stoneleigh Juniors also wins the Malden Championships Trophy.
Entries to the Championship will open in July and details of how to enter will be posted here.
Members should attend a qualifying event in advance of playing at the Championships. This is so we can make sure that all players and their ponies will be safe to play at Championships and have enough knowledge of the rules. These events are run around the UK in the months preceding the Championships and we have a mixture of one day events and two days events for 2022, including a couple of the UKPA Club tournaments to make it easier for those members who both members of Pony Club and the UKPA.
You don’t have to win to qualify, you will all be welcome at the Championships and you will get a qualifier rosette when you attend one of these events!
You can attend any of these events, it doesn’t have to be your local one (though obviously that might be easiest)
We have a good list of events already and will be looking to add a couple more (including ones in Northern Ireland and Scotland) to make sure all our members around the UK can qualify for the Championships without having to travel a long way. So keep your eyes peeled for more dates being added!

May the 14th and 15th – Area 8, Marks Tey, Essex
May the 22nd – Area 2, Preston Tower
June the 19th – Area 8 – Copdock, Suffolk.
